The setting
A working venue in the Cape Winelands
Somerset West sits in the Cape Winelands, and the hotel is about 25 minutes from Cape Town International Airport.
The hotel has recently been refurbished. The result blends classic elegance with modern flair: generous public rooms and gardens on the outside, current meeting technology on the inside. It reads as a country estate and runs as a conference hotel.
The location does useful work for a two-day programme. Delegates who want to arrive early or stay on have easy access to beaches, golf courses and wine farms, and Cape Town's V&A Waterfront is a straightforward drive away. For everyone else, the value is simpler: the conference, the exhibition and a bed are all in the same place.

Rooms that flex with the programme
The hotel runs a fully equipped conference centre. Its meeting rooms are versatile enough to hold intimate, mid-sized or large gatherings, which is what a programme built on plenary sessions, parallel sessions and an exhibition needs.
ITSAC 2027 uses that flexibility directly: plenaries and parallel sessions run alongside an exhibition that stays open across both conference days.
Room allocation per session is set once the programme is finalised. Session detail is in development.

Delegates book their own rooms. The hotel handles availability and rates directly.
Rooms at The Lord Charles Hotel are booked with the hotel, not through the conference. Contact reservations directly, say that you are attending ITSAC 2027 on 9-10 March 2027, and they will confirm what is available.
Rates, and any conference room block that may be arranged, are set by the hotel and handled separately from conference registration. We do not publish them here, so please confirm current pricing and terms with the hotel when you book.
Registering for ITSAC 2027 does not reserve a room, and booking a room does not register you for the conference. The two are separate steps.
