The conference
A continental conversation, hosted in Cape Town
Dedicated to intelligent transport systems, smart mobility and transport technology, with a focus on Southern Africa and an opportunity to share knowledge with Europe.
ITSAC 2027 brings government, transport authorities, operators, technology providers and researchers into one room for two working days. The agenda is practical: what is already deployed, what is being procured, and what the next decade of mobility on this continent needs to look like.
The journey begins with the Inaugural Event, delivered in collaboration with ERTICO, and will run for two days at The Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset West. Nine topics run through the programme, from public transport and smart cities to tolling, freeway management and road safety, with plenary sessions, parallel Industry Showcase sessions and an exhibition running alongside.
The ITS Africa Conference 2027 is organised by Innovative Transport Solutions (Pty) Ltd in partnership with ERTICO, hosted by the City of Cape Town and supported by the Western Cape Government Department of Infrastructure.
