A continental conversation, hosted in Cape Town
South Africa's premier conference dedicated to intelligent transport systems, smart mobility and transport technology.
ITSAC 2027 brings government, transport authorities, operators, technology providers and researchers into one room for two working days. The agenda is practical: what is already deployed, what is being procured, and what the next decade of mobility on this continent needs to look like.
The journey begins with the Inaugural Event, delivered in collaboration with ERTICO ITS Europe, and continues across two conference days at The Lord Charles Hotel in Somerset West. Nine themes run through the programme, from public transport and smart cities to tolling, freeway management and road safety, with plenary sessions, parallel Industry Showcase sessions and an exhibition running alongside.
The conference is organised by ITS Innovative Transport Solutions and hosted by the City of Cape Town. Session-level detail is in development, and registration opens closer to the event, so follow the programme as it takes shape.
